"So Amazon provides you with one option. Then once something happens they do not cover it and respond with we have two options. Hell of a way to sell something. Save your money everyone because this is a scam. If it were not for Amazon refunding me I would have had to pay for this garbage."
"My computer was supposed to have had a charging issue fixed. It charges really slowly, a brand new MacBook Pro. It takes approximately 9 hours to get a full charge from empty compared to the 2.5 hours that it is supposed to take. I filed a claim with square trade, and sent them the computer. After a few days, I received an email claiming that the computer was fixed, and it was returned to me. However the computer still takes 9 hours to charge completely. The issue was not resolved."
"Purchased a Samsung TV along with a 5-year extended warranty from SquareTrade in March of 2016. Fast forward to two weeks ago when the TV failed and the bottom left corner of the screen actually began to melt due to internal overheating. SquareTrade refuses to cover repair/replacement under the warranty as they contend that the set has "physical damage". Gee, ya think? The thing almost caught fire.
