I sent my laptop in for repair on two items. The whole process took over 60 days and many hours on my part to resolve the problem. The broken screen was fixed without a problem. The other was an issue with the computer slowing down drastically when plugged in. They clearly did not test the computer after reloading the operating system and sent it back still broken despite clear instructions about how to test. No Tech sent to confirm problem ,I had to (while recovering from major back surgery which I told them) Did not receive the same brand TV, and was not allowed to purchase a new warranty on the new TV(no purchase receipt on replacement)

I called Square Trade and was advised that their support did not kick in until after two years from purchase. While the rep did transfer me directly to the manufacturer and provided a number for future reference within the manufacturer warranty period, he didn't provide a number to contact for the second year's warranty offered by the retailer (Costco). I think the Square Trade brochure I picked up at Costco should have been clearer about who to contact when and supplied the Costco warranty contact number directly on the bro... read more

I started with a couple phone calls. Once the pictures/video were evaluated, they emailed me the same day to pick out my replacement. I recieved my tv 11 days from my first contact with them. I recommend their warranty’s

I had a problem with an HP printer. I called SquareTrade, who told me the product was still under HP warranty, so they transferred my phone call to a number they SAID was HP. It wasn't. Unfortunately, I didn't discover that until I'd been on the phone and tied up my computer for more than 7 hours over three days, and had been persuaded to buy a 2-year technical support plan for $99.
