"I got a warranty on a digital Kodak camera thru SquareTrade. They were terrific! I had problems with the camera starting about a year ago. I sent it to them and they had it repaired right away, no trouble at all. It never really got fixed and after another claim for the same issue they refunded my money for the camera. I have since bought another camera, and bought another warranty with SquareTrade. They are the best! I will never buy another warranty anywhere else!"

"I began purchasing SquareTrade warranties several years ago and now have about a dozen protected electronic devices with them. The proof of how good they were going to be was if (or when) I had one of these devices go bad, and one of my hard drives did just that. I used the web to file a claim and received the necessary label and instructions for return. I was notified when they received the item and that it was being evaluated. "Was easy to purchase the warranty, even though I thought I would NEVER need it, and the price was reasonable enough, so I purchased the warranty, and then my device began malfunctioning beyond just a simple repair. I filed a claim, sent it back, and less than a week later, was told it could not be repaired and I got the FULL PURCHASE price back, via check in the mail! How AWESOME is that?"

"Though Square Trade had a fast response in regards to shipping me back the iPhone, the product had new problems when it arrived. 2 weeks later I'm still trying to get my phone fixed through iresQ, the firm that they use for repairs, I'm sorely disappointed in the delay and service that I've received."

"I have been a SquareTrade customer for over 3 years and have bought warranties for about 20 electronics items (computers, cell phones, etc). Recently a laptop failed a few months before its warrant was due to expire, so SquareTrade sent a prepaid shipping box. I sent it in, and a day later heard back from them that the lapto was not worth repairing (board failure, as I had thought) and that they were refunding the insured value by Paypal. "At the time I purchased my warranty my attitude was that I was just buying insurance to insure that nothing would happen ... the only time a problem occurs is if you don't buy an extended warranty.
