"Wow! This was the easiest and best service I've ever received for a warranty service. I bought my warranty for a car radio and when it started to malfunction, SquareTrade found it was easier to refund my original price paid for the product. This was all QUICK and EASY! Compare this to a previous experience at Best Buy. I had to take my radio out and be without my radio for weeks at a time... when they gave it back to me, nothing was even done!! "Initially, Square Trade offered to provide a gift voucher for the 'value' of my item, which they took to be the cost before VAT. I had to write a strongly worded e-mail explaining that the warrantee documentation stated the replacement would be for the price I had paid and as there was no way of purchasing an item without paying VAT, the price I paid must include VAT. "Having been burned a few times by "extended warranties" that did not perform as promised or simply being put off by the high prices asked by retailers, I found Square Trade Warranties to be the absolute exception. "I bought a refurbished Fuji compact camera about 8 months ago. Maybe a month ago, I noticed a couple of yellow spots on the LCD. They seemed to be growing a little. I contacted Square Trade and submitted the necessxary forms online. They sent me an email and asked me to contact an agent to clarify the claim. I did so. He approved my claim. I sent my camera back to them. They paid the UPS shipping costs. Three days later, they paid for my camera's full replacment costs. "I recently had a problem with my Magnavox Blu-ray player. The player had a manufacturer warranty of 1 year parts and 3 months labor. Initially squaretrade asked me to talk to the manufacturer since my system was within the one year window. The manufacturer gave me the go around and finally I went back to Squaretrade and explained what was happening. Squaretrade simply told me that they will replace the cost of the item and not to be worried. Within a few days I have the replacement cost sent out. This is customer service!. ... read more

"Hard to believe a company will sell you a warranty for a used product, I don't know why anyone would not purchase a warranty for an item form ebay. I had a very easy claim process. I also bought a warranty for a new vacuum and you can't beat the price"
