"Square Trade provides a super service. The warranties are much cheaper than elsewhere and you can do everything online. Clams are dealt with exceedingly quickly. I filed a claim for my non working radio on a Monday afternoon,a label to ship the item back to Square Trade free was ready by Monday evening, and the amount I paid for the item was refunded by Square Trade by Friday afternoon. You couldn't get better service."

"This was a great way to get extra protection at a very decent price. If whatever you buy only has a 1 yr. warranty. Check out Square Trade it is worth it. My brand new external 2tb hard drive only had 1 yr. got an extra 3 yr. from Square Trade, low and behold after less than 2 years the drive started making noise and was getting really hot. "As I had used SquareTrade in the past for exotic electronics, I decided to see if they would write a warranty for the portable AC/heat pump I bought last year, and that said sure. So, I went for a three year warranty and filed the e-mail communications away and hoped I'd never need them. "I purchased a SquareTrade extended warranty after purchasing an Apple Xserve server on Ebay. I took advantage of their introductory offer, which was an additional year coverage for free with a one year coverage purchase. "What a very pleasant surprise! I bought a DVD player about a year ago and purchased a 3 year Square Trade Warranty after purchasing it from EBay. After one year, the DVD player started acting up. It still worked, but it took 3-6 times to get the DVD to play. Many times it would try to read the DVD and come back that it was not readable. "I bought a 2 year warranty for my wife's iphone 3GS 16GB. 7 months before the warranty was going to expire the phone battery started to go bad. I was afraid I was going to have to have a hard time proving that the battery had an issue because the problem was intermittent but frequent enough to make the phone unreliable.
