They did right by me. My phone was defective, and they credited me with a Walmart gift card, which I used immediately to buy a new phone. I did right by them. This is how insurance is supposed to work. No complaint. Neither of us got taken for a ride.
I bought a CD/Radio that stopped playing CD's. The warranty was settled with no hassle, and I received a new CD/Radio of a different brand. Worked out well and I bought another warranty for the new boombox.
