Nintendo fixed quickly and sent back in great time
Our TV wasn't working. We called about the warranty. They walked us through a few steps and decided it was not fixable. They tried to find a replacement to send us. In the end they issued a check for the purchase amount and we were able to buy a new TV. Of course, we purchased the warranty again!
I purchased a warranty from Allstate on a window unit air conditioner I purchased from Sam's Club. It worked just fine the first season, but when I reinstalled it for the upcoming summer months, it was blowing dust! I contacted Allstate and after a little debate about the unit still being under factory warranty (it wasn't), the rep came back and told me that they were refunding me the purchase price. The process was easy to do online, I just did not realize that I needed a full picture of the item, not just the broken parts, and since I could not put it back together, I submitted what I could. We had to go back and forth a few times, but the agents really helped me out and got my claim settled. I will make a point of taking a full picture of everything the first time I set it up, just in case.
Did not like how long it took. First I had to go through where I purchased my laptop, then mail it to where I purchased my laptop to see if it was under their warranty, then they mailed it back to me. I then had to call Allstate for them to send me another shipping label so I could ship it to them to fix it and then return it to me. This was my work laptop and could not wait 4 weeks for this process. I had to purchase a new laptop to use during this process. Filing the claim was easy, but I'm not sure it was worth the purchase. I purchased a piece of jewelry for 50% off during holiday sales and purchased the protection plan. The bracelet broke within four months and unfortunately it was not sold anymore, so I couldn't get a replacement. The plan didn't cover the full cost of what I payed for the item, nor what it would cost to get it fixed by a jeweler, so I'm questioning the value of purchasing such coverage. Besides the confusion with the label everything went smoothly and , the wait was a little long but that was no fault of them, they answered my questions very fast and gave me updates often
