Unfortunately, a month into owning a new tablet, my son cracked the screen. We contacted Allstate for instructions on what to do for repairs. The claim was handled quickly and since they couldn't correct it with repair or replacement, they sent a Walmart gift card for the purchase price. My only complaint is that I wasn't able to use the plan for the new tablet. There was no transfer of the plan. We'll just have to be really careful with this tablet.

The decision met my expectation
my laptop motherboard failed, and was repaired by their subcontractor, who proceeded to ship it back in poor packaging - and squaretrade agreed to refund the original purchase price (after a bit of discussion). in this, they are simply keeping to their word of repair, replace, or refund - but the important thing is that they accepted my documentation of their repair agency's errors. agents were pleasant to work with, and the process did not take too long to complete.
This was the best investment ever just for the piece of mind. I was devastated when my tv stopped working, cause it was the first birthday gift to myself in years. The team was so patient and understanding of my anxiety in needing to file a claim. I highly recommend everyone to purchase the insurance.
