I filled out a form online stating that I needed help with an air conditioning unit. It was a 90° weekend and I didn’t expect to get immediate response. However, I had an immediate response from American Home Shield who contacted the heating and air-conditioning company. Within an hour the heating and air-conditioning company called me back and set up an appointment for Monday morning bright and early. The problem was resolved quickly. I am one very happy customer.
I have had a very bad experience with Air Conditioner repair. I have been without A/C for 3 weeks during a record breaking heat wave. I've had to spend money on hotel rooms and portable A/C units. I've encountered employees who gave conflicting information. All the reps I spoke with were courteous but ultimately not helpful in advancing my work order
Bill was friendly, polite, very thorough, and upfront about my roof. He took photos and explained everything to me. He went above and beyond to help me. Highly recommend him!!!
Technician was super nice but showed up towards end of window and meant I lost a good part of the day.
I have two homes and have used AHS to cover both. They have been very helpful and it's good to know that if something major goes wrong that I will have coverage. That said, because the companies that they send to look at a problem have to go back to AHS to get approval, it can take several days to weeks for a repair or replacement to be made. If I hadn't inquired on our service through chat, I would never have known our case was closed because the part needed was discontinued. So, after the chat I called and spoke to the appliance replacement rep. She was very helpful. Explained the options well. But... Never received the email to make our choice of the options.
That warranty actually worked, it wasn’t a scam like most warranty companies.
