AHS customer service is good, but their ordering division is suspect. I placed a service claim (Washing Machine) on 5/15/23 and it’s 6/20/23 , my issue is still ll not resolved. Communication beyond customer service lacking in a major way. During this period the number of parts were ordered, meaning less than what is required to complete the repair, causing delays, my family and I are still waiting for the parts . I had AHS American Home Shield warranties with two homes for over 15 years. They approved all my claims and they provided great service. They were easy to access online to file a claim. The only the reason I gave four stars is because they raised my deductible twice during that period of time which made me switch to another company.

The time from the initial reporting the problem to American Home Shield and the time the problem is corrected, is entirely to long. I was without a refrigerator for almost a month. That is way to long! I probably jbwill continue with my contract but I am NOT happy about the length of time it took to fix my refrigerator!

They were able to get a service contractor out here and unfortunately my appliance was deemed nonrepairable. Within a week the new appliance was ordered and put in and working great.

I submitted my request for service and received a call from American Home Shield the next day with the name of the contractor that would be dispatched to my home. The contractor reached out shortly thereafter to schedule a time for the tech to come to my home. The response was quick and the service was excellent!

I have had great success on repairs till my last request . I have put in a work order for gas furnace and I keep getting the run around that there is no one in my area . Fbr has worked on my issues before and did a great job . They are still in the area so not sure what is going on . It is 19 degrees here and I’m afraid my house will freeze and my tenants will move out .

I never have to worry about emergencies or who to contact. Service is always performed quickly and I have been with AHS for ten years. I have always been very satisfied with their contractors and work performed.

Super Transparent, up-front pricing and the coverage options are quality. Thankfully I've only ever had to to contact them a couple of times, but each time I have AHS has been extremely responsive. The portal is very user friendly and easy to navigate, and it seems like they've done a good job of vetting the service providers they work with because I've been equally impressed with the work as well (Phoenix, AZ).
