It's absolutely worth it. I have filed claims for my furnace, my refrigerator, and most recently my AC unit. My claim for my furnace took some time to get approved. The contractor that got assigned by AHS never reached out to us. This was in the middle of winter. After a few weeks, I was approved to use a different contractor that I was allowed to pick. I gave a 5 so far because, I've used my warranty twice, but my response to my request are always prompt. I've never had an issue yet. I do everything online so I never spoke with AHS customer service once. I've never had too.

I like American Home Shield. They have been helpful and fulfilled most claims in a timely manner.
Had my refrigerator worked on 3 or 4 times and acting up again. Supposed to be a high end refrigerator but nobody knows how to work on it. Tired of putting out deductibles with no satisfaction.
The service call was easy and they came out to fix issue right away
Great customer service, technician responded with in 24hrs of the claim. Worth the money spent for pea e of mind.
