I was having some problems with the garage door malfunctioning. It would open sometimes and sometimes, it wouldn't open. I placed a claim to American Home Shield. They sent a technician out. And that particular person was very good. The one they had sent prior to that, I didn't like their customer service. I'm with AHS for over 10 years, and I never had any bad experiences. first service requested in August no issues
They had prompt service and fixed problem.
My ice maker got jammed up and it wasn't producing. I called American Home Shield and they sent Service One Appliance. The tech from there said it would be a little while until they got a new part. They called us eventually and said they had the part and that they were coming out to our location. Service One did an excellent job. The tech was prompt and efficient. The ice maker has been working fine so far. I was satisfied with the way AHS and their contractor performed.
Scheduling was easy. Technicians were knowledgeable and professional.

I had some work done on my air conditioner and the process was fine. I called the automated line, put in what the prompt said then it gave me a phone number to reach out to a particular vendor. It also told me that I could use the online service thing to do that. But I prefer to talk personally, sometimes. The way that the drain was originally set up, it went into the ground outside instead of having a proper outlet for it to go. It was almost buried in the ground ‘cause there's some vegetation around it, so it got blocked up. I did everything that I could at the unit, so I couldn't understand why it was blocked up like that. The guy from Bencraft Mechanical went out there and adjusted the PVC pipe and put a different drain head. Now it's filtered out above the ground so it won't ever get backed up again. I had an electrical issue and the guy who came out from A to Z Electric did a really good job and got us taken care of. So far, things have been good with AHS. The claims process we went through went pretty quickly.
