Most of my experience with AHS has been good. In the past, I have had several service requests for plumbing and appliance repairs that were completed with good results. My only negative service was when my hot water heater went out and AHS assigned to service to Showers Plumbing Company of Missouri Valley , IA. It took 11 days to replace the hot water heater, plus Showers Plumbing charged me and extra $290 installation charge. There was no extra installation effort required. They are professional. Easy to deal with. They repair-don't throw out stuff. Most of the people they send are excellent. One wasn't good. It's a fair deal to both them and the customer.

The first company referred to fix our air conditioner was a month out. American Home Shield called till they found a great company that responded within 4 days.
