The service once the call goes through is good but there are too many indirections to get the better response causes lot of churns to the consumer like me. I have decided to move on to other though I know there is no perfect home warranty company out there but time for me to explore other provider since I had a very rough experiences.

I was really happy with American Home shield until recently. For the 8 yrs I’ve been in my home I’ve had the same contractors come to my home for my ancient HVAC system. It did break down & the repair was quickly approved. However, the contractor they sent out was BEYOND rude. If it wasn’t so hot, I would have thrown him out of my house. The technician arrived in a timely manner. He was courteous. He explained all that he was going to do. He also was patient and answered all of my questions.
Always room for improvement. The website is user friendly.
I like the quick responsiveness of AHS and the people they send out to repair. I like peace of mind the coverage gives me. What I don't like is how reluctant they are to replace items. For example, one service looked at our air conditioner and said it needed to be replaced (of course, I get that they wanted to sell it to us). We called AHS to look at it. They fixed/replaced part of it, but not all of it and what they didn't replace we were told was likely only to last the summer.
Repair company was immediately assigned and we were also given their phone number
I am happy about the timely response and the help with getting a new water heater, which was no cost to me.
I liked that he was very friendly. And he was letting me know exactly what he was doing to fix the air conditioner. I have others come. And not say a word. Except what is wrong with it
