Service has improved greatly over the last 4 years. When began with AHS, a hold to speak to someone was typically over 45 minutes. Contractors have been very good. Only have had about 3-4 calls per year but much improved. The last 2 years, the premiums have increased greatly. I have called to speak to a rep about it. Last year, they offered a $125 discount after calling. They then charged entire amount on credit card. Had to call and plead to honor the verbal amount they agreed to. They very quickly assigned an appliance repair company. And that company in turn came out quickly and when they had to order parts they let me know what the time frame would be. It was a very pleasant experience.
Rapid response to my issue. I had an electrical issue with my air conditioner. A technician came out and determined it was not the air conditioner but required an electrician. American Home Shield set up an electrician to come out and the problem was fixed.
