My air conditioner wasn’t working and once I submitted the claim online, it said that the contractor will get back with me, and then within the next day, United Air Temp did. They came out and they did a good job. It took a couple of days before they got here, but it was good. I like them. But I had a horrible experience with another contractor before. A friend of mine recommended American Home Shield. Overall, their service has been fine. I just don’t know what to do when people come out and don’t do what they're supposed to do. I had some people come out because I had to call in for my washer and dryer. It’s still making the same noise. I also had Maeser Services for a claim and their tech was fine. He told me that he had to put Freon back in it. He said that the tech that I had last time didn't do what they were supposed to do. That was through American Home Shield too.... read more
Very prompt and courteous. So glad I opted for this home plan.
When my master toilet was stopped up, I called it in. I knew exactly when the contractor was coming, which was the next day, and they were here as scheduled. We just had a brief disruption. Everything went good. I enjoy having Home Shield.
Most of the time, AHS's claims process is pretty good. When I first got their coverage 10 years ago at another property that I rent out, it was very hard and they fought everything. Now, if I call with a reasonable request, they're pretty responsive. Plus the contractors we've had through them have been very good. Most recently, AHS's contractor, DMV Pro Tech, came out to do my dishwasher. They did a good job.
Submitting a claim to AHS was pretty easy and the company they sent out was fine. They did a great job. They fixed the dishwasher. They replaced the computer board. It wasn’t heating properly or drying the dishes.
American Home Shield has been a joy to work with. They have saved us money, time and headaches. Its a pleasure to deal with a warranty company that cares about our needs. Thank you AHS.
My washing machine was going crazy. It was bouncing all over the floor and shaking real bad. The tech from All in One Appliance came out and put in new shocks in the tub so it wouldn’t bounce so bad. It’s still noisy, but I think it's because of the stands. The tech was great. He was professional.
I had somebody come and fix my air conditioner about three weeks ago. It wouldn’t turn on at all. I submitted a claim online and the website was pretty straightforward. Then, I got an email right when I submitted it saying I'd hear back within the next 24 hours. I was given a call the next morning and Des Moines Excavating was gonna come right after the weekend. It was good with the contractor. I had no issues.
