I have been a customer of American Home Shield for a long time and all I can truly say is that they are a dependable company, they are their when you need them and I would not take anything for them.
I don't like that you don't get a breakdown bill of what the warranty actually paid for. So it I'm paying a 100 service fee then 300 plus in fees the warranty doesn't cover what actually did you all cover?
Everything went very well contractor was dispatch came out two days later and fixed my unit
How quickly they responded with a company to fix the problem.
I have been a subscriber to AHS for many years and have had numerous occasions to avail myself of their services. Ihave always found the contractors dispatched to resolve my problems to be prompt, respectful of my home, honest and trustworthy. I have experienced no issues. My only complaint with this past service call was the fact that after the problem with my air conditioning unit was fixed, it required 4 lbs. of freon at $185/lb. Always willing to help with problems that might occur with the company that they select to come out to do a repair based on what’s broken.
Had to replace an air conditioner coil in the last month. It cost me $2700 with coverage from AHS. The average price for a coil replacement is less than I paid in the open market. Hidden cost for permitting, new plenum (to bring unit to code, and Freon replacement.
Excellent service technician. Quick service. Great resolution. I would recommend them to anyone.
