Had two things done lately and they resolved them quickly.They did a good job.
The air conditioner was making a loud noise. Then it was not spinning and the cold air was coming out. I went online to submit the claim. The AHS website is nice and simple. It said the contractor would contact me and E & A Mechanical contacted me the next day. They're professional and knowledgeable. They fixed the problems. The AC has been functioning great. Overall, it's a good experience.

I had the warranty for a year when I first moved into my new home. And I just was looking online and reading Home Shield's reviews and I said I’ll give it a try. I called Home Shield when my dryer stopped working completely. That was my first time ever using them. The customer service was polite. Technician came the next day. He was on time, completed the job quickly. American Home Shield handled my call efficiently. The customer service rep was helpful & courteous & professional.
Our hot water recirculation pump was making a loud buzzing noise and we weren’t sure if it was air in the pipe or something else. I submitted the claim through the American Home Shield website. I've used their website a few times and I'm familiar with it. But it was a little bit strange that there wasn't a way to specify our particular issue. It was just categorized as hot water tank.
