I’ve contracted with several home warranty companies over the decades. AHS has been the best by far because they assign a service professional immediately, speeding up the process . A year ago my 17 year old water heater died., Within 24 hours a new one was installed. I paid 125 for service fee for which I got a brand new quality water heater installed with old one hauled away. I could not be happier with AHS, it is the best of the best based on my decades of experience with such companies.

I was really happy with American Home shield until recently. For the 8 yrs I’ve been in my home I’ve had the same contractors come to my home for my ancient HVAC system. It did break down & the repair was quickly approved. However, the contractor they sent out was BEYOND rude. If it wasn’t so hot, I would have thrown him out of my house. He overcharged me for an item they didn’t use. American home shield is investigating that & hopefully I will see some of that money back.
