It took more than a month to fix my 2 AC Units. Rating would have been a 5 but Ai had to follow up a few times before the parts were ordered and installed within more than a month from the initial request for service. Even with a long wait for completion of the jobs, I still recommended using American Home Shield to my family and friends. It was worth paying the out of pocket cost. Thank you American Home Shield!

AHS strives to provide knowledgeable, competent, courteous, and efficient technicians to complete my service orders. I have had systems/appliances repaired, and I've had them replaced. The replacement process has always been very easy to complete, and I have been very satisfied with the end result. I have been an AHS customer for over 20 years.

I like knowing I don't have to hunt for a repairman when I need something fixed. All I do is file a claim and Home Shield does the rest. And I like knowing what the bill will be - no surprises. And I like the fact that the repairman shows up on time, knows what needs fixing and does it. I like being given the name and phone number of the person who will be coming to fix the problem, and I feel safe opening the door.

The automated “hearing” needs some work; I had a little trouble communicating what I was calling for. Other than that, once I got through that part it was all smooth sailing! The appointment to repair my dryer was made in a timely manner, the technician was on time, and I (well, my wife) was back to drying laundry quickly, quietly and efficiently! The trade fee was easily handled, and the AHS coverage was just what we needed!

So far American home shield has performed well on all the small issues over the years. Bigger issues seem to take a long time to get settled , I understand that dealing with contractors and getting estimates is a time consuming ordeal . American home has done well with removing my pool issue , I am waiting for the reimbursement to be sent to me…..also I under This can take some time. My main concern is my second home , I contacted sales to get the same warranty for that property but , after paying the premium for six months ... read more
