One of worst experiences with a business, any business, ever. Poor responses. Horrible repair men. Monthly, annual & service charges went up significantly, year after year. With no more anything with the extra high bills It eventually got to the point where I was paying a higher monthly fee and got nothing more for it. So plain and simple, I just dropped them. An excellent decision since I rarely ever used them in the 1st place.

I do not like this company. It has been 10 years of run arounds and I'm tired of wasting my money. The reps lie, the contractors lie, it's always "that's not covered, it will be an extra $..." Most of the time I have to tell the contractors what to do because they act like they don't know how to do their job. Ridiculous!!!

Not pleased with this warranty company - do not waste your time as their are certainly better ones out their! I filed a complaint(s) with American Home Shield and they either ignored, declined, or misdirected me each time! No one ever seemed to pick up the phone, leaving me with a very bad taste of what their customer service is like. You might as well start your own warranty company seeing as Am. Home Shield won’t ever even get back to you.

Horrible customer service experience agents could not understand my situation because the agents did not understand and speak English good I wasted a lot of time some were unprofessional and rude Management need to make changes and get better agents business will lose another of money because they chose to send their business out of the country

I'd been paying this warranty for more than a year and the first time I called for a repair it doesn't cover it. Sucks!!!

Because you don't give your clients an appropriate amount of money to replace their appliances. Plus you lock them into going to the most expensive places to purchase the replacement appliance. It seems if your gonna be replace an appliance for a small amount of money you should allow your clients to shop around for the best price then. Now we are in a large amount of debt because the amount you gave us did not cover the cost of a new refrigerator and left us in debt for $800 dollars just for a similar refrigerator.

Over 2 weeks and I still have no contractor to repair my central air conditioner

My first claim took 2 professionals to complete. I had to pay 2 deductibles. The second claim was not completed. I tried several times to call, but the only answer was that they were waiting on the diagnosis from the company. They never returned my call. The last claim was for my freezer. It took them 7 days to come out. We lost over $350 worth of meat.
