We have been paying customers of American Home Shield since 2006 and are the first to live in a newly constructed home. Around 2014 we started having issues with our HVAC system and AHS would patch/repair every year. In 2017 there was an issue with the attic unit of our HVAC system that resulted in a small fire. AHS replaced that but not the air handler outside. It was very good back in 2003-2019. Then they became stingy, difficult to reach, harder to get things fixed that were previously covered and also considered fairly. I wouldn’t purchase home warranty from AGS again and I was a customer for 20 years.

first electrician that was sent out did not want to look into why we had a serious electrical problem instead he stated that for 350.00 he would go underneath the house to find out why we had electrical problem i refused and checked with AHS they send out another electriction he found out the problem right away in kitchen negative wiring was wrong . the first electrician wanted to make unnessasary money from me!! The first plummer that was sent out to check my water heater looked at it for one min. and left.!

When contractors come and fix an item only to discover something was not fixed right or break again afterc30 daysyhe customer has to pay again . If a shower know is fixed correctly it should not break again in a couple of months. It it does it means it wasn't fixed right from the start. Also not having a company on stand by in case of plumb8ng issues/leaks and not reimbursing the customer for calling a non ahs plumber

Scheduling an emergency over the holiday weekend none of the vendors were available. I have had no water 8 days now. Each vendor that was recommended by AHS was horrible. The vendors do not ensure that the problem is resolved before leaving. The vendors do not respond to emergency's in a timely manner. The vendors do not do a tangible job leaving me the customer to call AHS again and again.

I called AHS about a stoppage; AMPM Plumber came out, said he couldn't reach stoppage with his snake. I ended up calling Deer Valley Plumbing; the guy came out and said the stoppage was 15 feet away and he cleared it up. Cost me $280.

I paid 85 to get my plumbing looked at and got a phone call from yall saying I needed to find my own provider and be reimbursed. I don't have that kind of money. Wish yall would've gave the 85 back since yall didn't help me
