Customer service at its worse and quite the language barrier. Two different customer service reps told me I would not be charged any more monthly fees after cancelling my contract and 2 days after it was cancelled, I was charged for another month. The next rep told me she spoke to finance, and they assured her that money would be refunded to me. AHS makes it very difficult to get things fixed. Nothing happens promptly. Heaven help you if your heat goes out when it's cold or your ac when it's hot.

The representative understood the issue and assigned a company to come out. However, the automated phone system to try to reach a representative is HORRIBLE!

At first it was great! Our guy came in and saw our dishwasher needed to be replaced and it did, we ordered a new one and it was good. Upon delivery of the dishwasher there was no install and it says that is apart of our Hsa contract. Now we have a dishwasher in our living room for 2 weeks. After we called and told them it wasn't installed the Hsa said they would call us in 48hours to get this squared away. 6 days later we get a call about fixing our dishwasher when we just need it installed and our old one taken away.
They sent the wrong contractor and keep trying to charge me. Even after a supervisor said it was taken care of it wasn't. Still getting emails about a past due bill. I paid them for the service that was done. Still telling me I'm past due.

Because they never pay for anything and they have never fixed anything I have about. I have had to use vendors outside American Shield to fix the problem.

Most service calls were great. One not so good. Tech said thermostat was bad when he just didn’t have the skill to reprogram it after a power failure. Getting a refund was a hassle.
