I like the peace of mind that I have coverage for high dollar items in my home. I’ve had three claims in two years, one of those was for my furnace this year and the customer service department found a technician that was here within 24 hours. They were fast and friendly to get us heat back in the house! I did not like that last April my dishwasher broke and the part I needed was on back order from GE. I have had several issues with my home in the last two years (my home is getting older). What I like most about AHS is the quality companies that have come to my home to make repairs. They can usually identify the issue and fix it.

Most contractors they have selected for us have been good.
Simply put if you have simple problems it will get fixed. Just not in a timely manner. My sewer was backed up toilet over flowing causing water damage in the basement. American did set an appointment with a plumber but they couldn’t come out for days. I call a different company they had a plumber there in an hour. This is not the only time this has happened.
