I have been using American Home Shield for several years and just lately I've had to use them for water lines and refrigerator issues. They were very easy to work with and the businesses they sent out were top notch and were able to fix all of our issues.

This was the first time we used our American Home Shield warranty. Setting up the service call was simple, we were pleased with the plumbing company that was sent to us and we didn't pay a penny more than the initial service charge. Everything went just as AHS marketed.
The Service was great. All I had to do was make a claim regarding my furnace not working and a representative contacted me literally in seconds to schedule an appointment for a person to come out the same day. They kept me informed of when a worker was on the way to my house. The person who came was very professional. He replaced my thermostat and checked my heating and air until and my unit work well. No problems since. I would recommend this business to my family and friends.
It's worth it. I've had AHS for over 15 years. They have always been helpful, the contractors that they've sent out has done a great job. Have gotten other friends to join.
Provide the support as needed for the warranty and allow you to pick certain repair companies if they have been good in the past.
My concerns were responded to promptly and satisfactorily. This was true of Home Shield and by the two businesses who helped me.
