We've had AHS with our first home and when we moved, we were going to get it again but the homeowner included it in the sale. We've always had great success with claims and getting service done. It's also paid off. We've had our air conditioner, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, garage door opener all replaced when parts couldn't be found or it was cheaper to replace than repair. We're very happy with AHS and recommend it to all our friends.

my experience has been very good . They seem to do as they promise. I have been with them about 3 years. I remodeled my kitchen in 2005 and got all new appliances. They are getting old and started needing repairs. AHS has done as advertised for me.

Filed over 4 claims For the most part, they are responsive. The serviceman are all very professional and get the job done. One claim had a miscommunication between AHS and the manufacturer which resulted in a very long wait time to get the claim started

Some services are able to be repaired fairly quickly but others require very long wait times and as a result you have to pay out of pocket to get the covered item repaired sooner. Also American home shield is becoming very expensive.
