Most claims were handled quickly. Although there were a couple times when there were delays. I wish there was an option to select the service provider, as it seems I never get a company that has worked with me before. For example, recently we had both of our AC units go down and we made a service request. A service provider came and advised that the work order was only for one unit (I don't believe the online request allows us to provide much details) and they requested I submit another request for the 2nd unit. When I requested AC yearly checkup I received an email stating there was no one in my area to perform this. I had to call AHS and speak to an agent to get the service. It was the same company that has performed the checkup on my AC and furnace since I joined AHS. Not happy about this. Also, not happy with the constant increases in the monthly charge and the increase in the service fee.
American Home Shield is a worthwhile and efficient to work with!

Well it's like this, the last home warranty company I had before American home shield told me I had to wait three weeks for a service technician to come to my house. With American home shield they had a technician at my house the next day after calling. Enough said. It's all about the service or should I say timely service.

I paid for an Air Conditioner tune-up, but they weren't able to find a contractor to do it, so I never got the service.
