American Home Shield helped me through two emergencies. They set me up with companies that responded quickly and replaced parts with no additional charges. I never paid anyone other than American Home Shield. I am extremely satisfied with their service.
I have had very good experiences with American Home Shield. Each time I need service, I go on-line to request it, and within 2-4 hours, I get a response from AHS with the name of a company who has been assigned to me, and who will be contacting me to set up an appointment for service. During my most recent service call, the technician was unable to fix a 25+ year old appliance. He called in to AHS that he was unable to fix the appliance. Great service overall. Totally worth the investment.
Problem resolution is usually good, but it takes a long time. They hook you up with a vendor right away, but there still might be a week of waiting for them to get you in, or they will come and diagnose then need a part and it's another week.

Great Company. We he'd the washing machine broken for 5 months, we had several technicians trying to fix the washer until AHS find it the right one.
