Have always disliked not being able to choose which company will come to fix my problem. Otherwise things are fine and usually taken care of fairly quickly.

The coverage is pretty solid for the price, at least when you first start. They doubled our monthly rate in only 2 years. As for the contractors they sent out, it was about 50/50 on if they really fixed the issue or did so temporarily so that it'd break again in a few months. Their customer service was tricky to navigate, especially when trying to cancel your plan. I ended up going with another company due to them continually raising prices.
I liked the American Home Shield gets a contractor so fast to come to our home
