my mother is 88 years old and has been set up on the auto fill. They have filled her tank twice with month for a total of over 2,000.00 she only has a wall heater and is only home a few hours a day as she stays with my brother and I. We called and they could not give us an answer as to why they keep charging her so much. this is the worst most dishonest company ever
Amerigas owns the tank that is buried in my property that I bought in April 2021. I have no choice but to buy propane from Amerigas based on othe lease lest have the tank excavated and removed. After being charged a much higher rate per gallon on gas compared to the local market, I attempted to lock in a rate in June 2023. Terrible company , please do not use. They over charge for the propane!!!!! You try to call customer service you are on hold forever and I was hung up on several times. The customer service is located in another country and they can not speak understandable english . PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I order my fill up and it has been 11 days and I still don’t have my Gas… I even paid 300 for the next day fill up and did not receive it either…. They can’t even tell me when my delivery is exspected….
This company has repeatedly refused to refund my credit balance of approximately $200.00 since November, due to a billing error on their part. I have gone online requesting my money back several times, plus made numerous phone calls requesting the same. I just get nowhere!! Last week someone in their resolutions dept. promised me a refund check with a week. I have been fighting with AmeriGas since November 19 regarding an unauthorized charge on my account. They sent out a customer service tech after I specifically told them not to because I did not want to pay $195 for them to check my tank and now I’ve been charged a late fee on top of the $195. My mother has ordered her gas from Amerigas from the office in Ocala, Florida for many years with no problems until they resourced their customer service. We ordered gas in the summer of 2020 or 2021 and the bill was paid. Within the last two years, I have called repeatedly to find out why AmeriGas keeps billing my mother for gas that we have not ordered or received. If I had the ability to not select a start at all that would have been my option. The absolute worst company to deal with. We have been with this company for over 30 years (before it was AmeriGas). When this company decided to move its business to the Philippines that is where it went downhill. We never signed an agreement for tank rental NOR terms and conditions for tank removal.
