I purchased some property that has a tank in the middle on my backyard. I looked them up online and called the local number. I was on hold for a full hour, I went back on line and found two more number. Both went to the same automated system and I was placed back on hold again. I looked up the address for two local sites and found it was posted that they did not take walk-in service..

I would give AmeriGas negative stars if that were an option.Our propane regulator failed on Friday, and apparently AmeriGass definition of an emergency is only if your house is actively trying to explode. No heat and no hot waterwith three kidsin Colorado? Totally fine, I ******** here we are, living like its the 1800s. Boiling water on the stove just to do dishes, no hot showers, and freezing nights. Awful company to do business with. ** were supposed to to be locked in with the Amerilock program per our conversation via email with the sales rep. ** were given a **** of $3.66 per gal and she would wave the fee for the program. when they came to fill up we were charged $4.40. When I called to dispute that invoice we were told we never signed a contract, well I was never given one! ** had to call 3 separate times because each dispute they wouldnt lower it to the quoted amount.

I had an extremely unacceptable experience with an AmeriGas self-service propane exchange at *******, and it exposed serious failures in both their equipment and customer service.After inserting my credit card, the machine clearly indicated my payment was approved and accepted my empty tank. It then dispensed what was supposed to be a full tankbut instead gave me an empty, dirty, unusable tank. I'm a 46 year customer. HIDDEN FEES: Was told dispatch fee of $119.99 for site survey. Got bill for $474.58. CUSTOMER SERVICE: foreign, no apology, explanation or concession. Just yelled and I mean YELLED "You have to pay" twice. LACK of KNOWLEDGE of *** who answers all the calls about procedure of establishing service. Does not know how company works, what costs are, etc.

This is the worst company ever. Several years ago when we started the service with them they had local folks that you could speak to now you can not get anyone on the phone you can understand. We have been trying to get our tank picked up for three years now with no success. They keep sending us the rental bill for the year and expecting payment. They have told us several times they were coming and never heard from them. **************** is a zero with this **********************.

This propane company has been the worst I have ever seen. Terrible customer service, wait times to speak to someone on the phone upwards of 2-25 minutes each time. Several transfers later, you might find a person in a department that can actually help you out, but maybe not. Outrageous pricing to have them pick up the tank we no longer wanted. Will never ever ever recommend them to anyone ever.

The service I received does not even deserve a single star. Your employee hung up on me. I called to purchase my underground tank from Amerigas. I called several years ago and was given a price quote. When I called today, I was told they no longer sell their underground 500 gallon tanks. I have had this tank for 16 years. If I sell my house, the new people agree to use Amerigas or the tank must be dug up and removed. I cancelled my service due to the fact they could not comprehend I needed my propane tank hooked up to my new house from my existing house ON the same property. I was on budget billing and have called, chatted, email several times since November of 2025. They have not came and got the tank or refunded my $338.00 credit. Each time I talk to them they assure me they will do both. Here are in March and nothing.
