They are scheming with *************************** law firm. **** roofing representative says you have damaged to roof, convinces you to sign a work agreement and to complete the process calls a *************************** law firm representative to ensure positive outcome with claim. Law firm then sends home owner a bill for $2,300 when claim denied by insurance company.
Started a contract with Apex Roofing and Restoration in *************************. All was good, gave them $2400. To start. About a week later they called and said it was unable to perform the job at the price, Insurance would not budge. I understood, then the problems began. Stay away from this company, they gave me a different quote and they work with an agency that takes 10% of your claim, i was supposed to pay only my deductible and i ended up paying more, i was told they were going to work something out where i only had to pay my deductible and ended up paying more and now i'm being threatened to put a lien on my house. Do not do business with this company.
This company provided service and my home in *******. The agreement is only for $14,773 and now they are claiming that we owe $20,036 for suplemental insurance provider which it was not explained or written on the agreement.

The Director of **************** spoke with ****** (daughter-in-law) on 6/20/24 @ 10:17am CST, regarding this matter. It was explained to her that on both the Customer Agreement and the Pricing Detail it is listed to "supplement Insurance Provider" as well as explained in a paragraph that the homeowner initialed. Those documents were emailed to the homeowner and ****** @ 10:53am CST on 6/20/24.
Apex is as a company HORRIBLE to work with. **uldn't possibly go into all the details, as all this happened a year ago, and now having to relive it to the State of La. I hate to say this, they teach their sales reps to lie, to get you to sign papers. They promise you a new roof, and if, and only if, your roof claim is denied, they will hire an attorney (at Apex costs) to take over. this is what I was told word for word (better half heard it) by **** the rep at that time. I wish I had read the reviews before signing anything with APEX. Many of the issues others mentioned reflected my own experience. In the end, I decided to cancel our agreement, pay the $2,605.83 cancellation fee (15% of the settlement fee), and find a company with integrity to do my roof. Even if APEX could have completed the roof for the settlement fee (which they claimed they couldnt, insisting wed need to add another $14,000), I wouldnt have used them because they lack integrity. Apex Roofing and Restoration has been a nightmare, and their referral of ****** ********* has only increased the dissatisfaction with my experience. Many of my calls and emails got no response. Apex Roofing prices were off the chart. ****** ********* took 25% of the settlement and denied me a copy of their billing despite our agreement on 10% plus expenses. ******** would like to make a complaint about deceptive business practices. Apex's representative offered to inspect our roof for free to see if there was any storm damage. When he finished the inspection he said that there was damage and that Apex would set up an inspection between the public adjuster and my insurance company so that the public adjuster could file a claim against my insurance company to replace the old roof. they did my roof 8 month ago , just had it redone because there roof never passed code . Now i paid a roofing company to redo roof and they found 7 leaks , bad shingles , no sealer around drip edge , now i have to have ****** dollars worth of work done to the inside of my house because of leaks in the new roof . they charged me 23 thousand dollars for a roof that did not leak before they replaced it .
