I would not hire this company. They completely ignore the No Soliciting sign at our neighborhood entry gate. I sent them an email message in December, asking them to stop their reps from entering our neighborhood and knocking on our doors. Seems to have been a wasted exercise. Another Apex rep did it again today and seemed to not understand what No Soliciting means. I'm requesting that our HOA bar this company from doing business here. It is possible to follow the rules and still succeed.

Business response:

Concerning the legislation enacted regarding door-to-door solicitation by contractors, we are fully aware of these regulations and are dedicated to full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. ********************, please reach out to ****, Director of **************** at your earliest convenience. *****************.

No soliciting signs consistently ignored and marketing trash left at doors.

Though friendly, the ability to execute an estimate is astounding. I have been waiting since Oct ******************************************************* closing the insurance case. They keep saying they will have someone get back but nothing ever happens. I have even requested a new request to have an estimate done but same results.

I have many complaints with what I consider deceptive business practices 1. ************ specifically prohibits solicitation. They were going through the neighborhood knocking doors and offering free roofing estimates 2. After a quick inspection they said that we could get a new roof without any out of pocket expenses. We were led to believe that we would get a new roof quickly. We signed the contract at which time they disclosed we would be responsible for a deductible 3. We did not receive an estimate until a couple of mon... read more

Apex said they "will accept whatever the insurance company settles for". In my case, after hurricane *** They charged $10k OVER what State Farm alloted for the roof. They didn't want to listen and threatened to *** me if I didn't pay them.Much like bait and switch. My lawyer was no help as "I only represent your dispute with the insurance company".Avoid ******************* (Captain ***** like Covid.

Please read this before doing business with Apex..On August 8, 2022, a salesman for Apex Roofing knocked on my door asking if I was interested in a FREE roofing replacement estimate because he could see some loose shingles on my roof and that a weather storm was predicted to hit our area in the next week. I agreed for him to climb up and take a look at it. He returned stating that my roof needed replacement. He gave me a very expensive $31, 200 estimate and said not to worry too much about the amount since they have attorney... read more

On 1/18/24 @ 10:15am CST ****************** in the *********** spoke with the homeowner apologizing he had not been communicated with by Apex. The homeowner's request to be released was granted. The paperwork was sent 1/18/24 @ 10:15am CST, he signed and returned the same day. At this time the homeowner has been released and his file closed.

I'd go with any other company besides Apex. They will not honor a roof warranty for their crappy installment that caused the roof to leak and destroy our bathroom ceiling. It's poor business practice that you won't stand by your work when we have the documentation that states it's covered under warranty, especially when there is nothing in the paperwork that says void if house is sold! Then, the idiots had the audacity to call me back and ask if we would like to pay for someone to come out and estimate how much it would be f... read more

I had a totally new roof replacement/installed by Apex Roofing and Restoration that started 10/26/2023. The roof was removed and new installed in same day. However, since the Facia wood was not ordered, almost a week later Apex had to undo some of the new installation to add the new Facia/Trim wood under the eves/drip edge. The installers came out three times to install the Facia wood as they were just working my home into their already booked business. Upon the first rain 12/16-17/2023, the roof leaked. I am still waiting o... read more

Business response:

After reviewing the file with the Production Manager, it was determined the homeowner had 3 pieces of plywood and 20' of fascia included in his contract at no charge. He initialed the paragraph stating he was aware of additional charges for any wood needed during his install. The repair was reported on 12/19/23, put in, and addressed on 12/21/23.

Two years later and this has been the worst experience, ever. I should have known when they came like sharks to my door, but the roof was old and did have hail damage. Did I get a new roof? Yes. Does it still leak? Yes. Is it the SAME leak that ONLY occurs with very hard rain, so it had been months before it leaked bad again? Yes. So is it out of warranty? Yup...you guessed it. They came out and "fixed" it once, but since that was done and the warranty is up, too bad. Now I'm stuck with a leaking chimney and hundreds of more... read more

Business response:

After reviewing the file, work was done in 7/22. The homeowner then spoke with **************** rep **** on 8/8/22 stating workers came out and at that time she was not having an more issue. When the homeowner reached out to Apex in 8/23, she stated that she was leaking down the topside of the chimney. The top of the chimney is not something that Apex would repair. The homeowner would need to seek out a fireplace company to assess and correct, however, she was advised by a **************** rep that Quality Control could come... read more
