This was my second time eating at Arnette's Chop Shop and we were celebrating my birthday. My family likes to share food, so we ordered multiple appetizers, one large steak (the Cowboy) and a handful of sides to share. The steak was hard to cut and chewy. It had to have been a bad steak, and no steak that costs that much should ever be chewy. Service very good. Our steaks were a little over cooked, but the cut was very good. Great little location and very cozy.
Ribeye was fatter and tasteless. Filet was ok. Service was slow especially given there was several empty tables in our room. My second visit, and I think I’ll stick with little alley and bones going forward. Not sure how much longer Arnettes will survive unless change where they purchase their meat. Where do they by the way.
Really good but price points exceptionally high!
I honestly have to say I was disappointed in Arnettes. I was excited to try out a local down the street Brookhaven steak house. The service tonight was slow, very slow for a Monday night. I did not mind much because of father of 3, it was nice to get out with the wife for alone time. It did get to the point, a bit annoying about the slow service. Too noisy to enjoy a conversatiom
My steak was very undercooked. It had already taken way too long to begin with so by the time and it was re-cooked it was too late. I wasn’t even hungry anymore
Unable to fully review as we left the restaurant before we could dine due to poor customer service on a busy Valentine’s evening, despite having a reservation over one month in advance. We hope to try again in the future!
They were not prepared for the amount of people on Valentine’s day. we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our meal. They did comp us though.
