Worst dental experience ever! I would highly recommend going anywhere else. The dental hygienist told me I had gingivitis, so I got a second opinion, the other facility said they saw no signs of gingivitis whatsoever. When I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned, the receptionist at Aspen told me my first appointment was at no cost, then I got a bill in the mail for $90.00 later that week. I had to switch dentists due to an ins change. After our experience with Aspen in Onalaska I will be searching out another dentist. I scheduled a simple sealant appt because right before the change my daughter had just had a cleaning and x-rays done (6 weeks before our appt) . I filled out all their forms, I scheduled almost 4 weeks in advance and had my prev dentist email her records. My wife recently went to Aspen Dental in Onalaska and word for word, here's the review she posted on Google's reviews, "(Aspen) …works like it was designed and implemented by a fast food restaurant chain. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my scheduled appointment but wasn't taken back to the exam room until 20 minutes after the start of my scheduled appointment. Went in strictly to have a tooth removed that had been causing me pain for the last couple months. Well after being gagged with a full mouth x-day they finally got me into the chair. I sat in the building for over 2 hours while they tell me they won’t pull my tooth due to having gingivitis and then give me an estimate of $5300 to have 3 teeth pulled and a partial denture. "So far i am not impressed with the new dentist i am trying. They had me come in at 2:15 to fill out paperwork and its 4 o clock and im still sitting here in their chair waiting for the hygenist to come in. All ive had were the x rays. These Aspen Dental websites only post the good reviews on their sites. But there are bad reviews on them all across the internet. The only way you are put first and treated like somebody is during an appointment. At all other times, your situation is put on hold or not even answered at all. Don't expect to hear back from a dentist when calling the emergency services line for emergency dentist. I once recommended them, but some bad things I mentioned in there too before and let the readers choose if they wanted to go there or not, but tonight my patience has left me, I no longer recommend them. Absolute joke. I understand getting an exam done for your first initial appointment, but to refuse treatment to be done on a tooth with pain UNTIL you spend $5000 to get “other work” needed first and require 20% down BEFORE anything is done? That’s against the law for one, and yeah don’t waste your time because they “forgot” you were in the waiting room for 45 minutes after your appointment time... NOT impressed nor will I EVER step foot in an aspen dental again.
Information and dental work was good. However had several delays from appointment time, to in between x-rays and dentist. Back was starting to hurt waiting in the dentist chair for so long. Need to work on keep patients moving thru the process.
