**APPLICANTS BEWARE** - Deceptive Application Process I recently found AUTOPAY via Bankrate and it was by far the most deceptive application process I have encountered while searching for an auto loan refinance product. Complete bait and switch, get an offer with a rate and term. Click accept offer. They run a hard credit inquiry. Come back days later with offers that are not even close to the original offer. Total scam. The are a broker not a lender the "offers" they make up front are completely fictitious offers that they can't even make because they aren't a lender. It is just to get you to give them your information so they can ding your credit and get some unsuspecting victims to say yes.

I sent In my application 2 months ago been trying to reach a manager because no one knows whats going on with my application, took the manager weeks to get back to me after calling 5 days in a row asking for someone to tell her to reach out to me. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this company!

I've applied twice to Autopay after advertisements they keep sending me about my excellent approval odds to lower my vehicle loan rate. I filled out all forms and uploaded all required documentation only to be DENIED both times in a 6 month period. The denial told me I didn't complete all information or my credit was frozen, which both are untrue. Bad actors. You don't give them permission to run a credit check on you, and they go do it anyway. Try to contact customer support multiple times. No one can help and they hang up on you.

Scam, they send a preapproved letter stating you will be guaranteed a prewritten interest rate, once you fill everything out and they do a hard pull, they come back with something worse. I have excellent credit and no financial issues but this is a scam BAIT AND SWITCH. Please stay away

They did a hard pull on my credit report two times - ******** CU and Tropical CU AND I NEVER gave them my social security number !!! I started to fill out the application one late night and it got late so I stopped - the next morning I wake up and have TWO hard pulls on my credit report !!! How does this even happen !!? I purposely did not feel comfortable yet putting my social security number online because I wanted to do more research in the morning - they need to get these HARD pulls off of my credit!! They advertise only a soft credit pull in order to make you a refi offer. In actuality they do a hard pull which I would NOT have authorized. They also did this BEFORE even making me an offer to see if I was interested in moving forward. All I received was a message saying good news, youre approvedbut still with no offer. Beware of deceptive business practices!

These people are complete liars and frauds. I was conned into having to pay an extra 3k that I never agreed to or wanted. I cannot afford this and now I am not going to have money to feed my children because of these frauds. I can't afford a lawyer and am at their mercy and they're doing nothing to help me. I can't believe this. I don't know how I am supposed to afford this fraudulent charge with mouths to feed. How could someone do this and not feel bad about it? This is just how these companies operate.
