Applied for a loan with an 800+ credit rating. Was told - yes - we have a loan for you at a rate I could live with. I looked through the paperwork and there was GAP insurance for $995. It said it was OPTIONAL. I declined to have the coverage and suddenly my application went back for review. How are those 2 things related? I applied with this company and got approved sent everything over to them, Then the lady I was working with disappeared. I got a new lady assigned to my application, I had to then resend all my info. Then after two months they finally submitted it to be funded and turn around and tell me it expired and have to re-run my credit and resign a docusign. This company was terrible to work with and don't have the best value in the customer.
The process was okay until I started speaking to an agent. We were going through the contract and starting to sign papers for new (but still predatory) loan they offered. First thing I noticed was my credit scored was totally wrong. Off by 70 points, the guy claims it was pulled from Experian. Well sir I check my Experian frequently because I have an account with their actual website. They falsified my credit, that was sus. I was a brand new customer. The loan agent that I was working with would call me or get in touch very sporadically, he kept dragging his feet. So on 7/25/24 after sending him a message the night before asking him about the documents, and where they were so I could sign them. The worst company! Sent me a letter saying we could refinance your car: I spoke with an unplaced person. Her name is ****, and she did not ask if that was a commercial or personal vehicle. She gathered all my info, including address, zip code, first name, last name, if we paid rent or its house, and if it is still underpayments or paid off. I asked her twice if you would look up my info since you sent me a letter and why you asked so many personal questions. I dealt with this company for a month sending documents back and forth including my car title, signed document for a loan, they had me change my lien holder with my car insurance and all of my personal information. The gentleman I was dealing with told me I was approved for a car loan to refinance my car tell me not to pay my car payment because the loan would be through by then only to ignore my phone calls for 2 days after a month of dealing with him and then he finally answered and told me I was denied. This company was recommended through credit karma. Offered 6.08% interest financing for 60 months. Came back a week later and 3 hard credit pulls at over 10% interest at 76 months. Complete BS!
Bait and Switch.Their website said rates as low as 2.99%. Spoke with a representative that said they are seeing rates as in the low 3s. Called them to follow up and the rate they offered was 7% even with an 850 credit score.Totally wasted my time and hard credit inquiry.Stay away.
I was given AutoPay as a refinance option on CreditKarma, however, I haven't been successful in getting my loan. I was given an application number in an email stating they would be contacting me. they did a hard credit pull against my credit. then nothing. I called their office and was told I was assigned a loan officer, but my email search said my loan ap was closed.
