Been contacted twice by this company by mail, saying that i'm preapproved for auto refinancing, where they quote you a rate and a monthly payment. But funny when you call to process the application. Somehow they can't find that paperwork, and they try to get you to accept a higher payment and a higher interest rate. Very deceptive and misleading business practice proud of bend at over the

Scam alert - This is a complete bait and switch operation. I was exploring information about refinancing our car loans to get a lower rate. Their website *specifically* says to input your information for a soft look and that it will *not* be a hard inquiry on your credit. I did so to be curious what might be possible and they claimed I could get 4.59%-6% (significantly lower than my current 10%. I did NOTHING further and thought that was it. This was an absolute scam between credit karma and autopay. Credit Karma advertised a much lower rate. Once you claim the offer on credit karma autopay instantly does a hard credit check WITHOUT notifying you of such. Only for autopay to call you and not offer an APR anywhere near the offer you claimed. When I brought this up to them they told me to call credit karma. When i called auto pay back a lady that barely spoke English answered heard a rooster crowing in the background and she could barely speak English and her phone kept cutting in and out. They did not get both incomes on this as i posted on appt as this is a joint acct. Talked to management still no prevail on anything. Reg flags with this company period.

I received letter stating a new lower APR offer with a lower monthly payment. I went through all the hoops to submit details needed. I was approved. As we attempted to finalize the offer, I come to find out that the APR actually offered was higher than the one I currently had? Bait and switch! I should have known better but thought I would try. What a waste of **************

After going over the loan finally with lots of missed calls from them because they are on a completely different time zone and I kept asking them to call me on my off days or at least at time that we could talk and the agent didnt comply. I would sometimes have to wait a couple weeks to hear back from the agent even via txt. Communication was just horrible to say the least. Autopay is NOT a lender. It is an "aggregator", meaning that they apply to several lenders and add a fraction of a percentage to the APR that they provide to you. Often the rate is the same or higher than you're already paying. And now you'll have a hard inquiry on your credit report.I don't understand how it's legal to refer to themselves as a lender. They'll claim that they disclose that in fine print, but they advertise "financing as well as working with a network of lenders". They refuse to advertise themselves as aggreg... read more

Misleading or false offer! They sent me a letter offering 6.44% interest rate if I refinance my auto loan through them. I called to take advantage of said offer and the salesman told me that it would depend on length of the loan and such. I was fine with whatever terms including Doing the refinance based off the original length of my loan.. whatever it would take to get it down to 6.44% and knocking my payment down $101 like the letter offered.
