My mom was placed here after hip surgery. She also has dementia. The staff were supportive and caring. The front desk was always pleasant (I saw them everyday) and the care was great. Special shout-out to Diane (yo,Detroit), Jessica of the yellow boots, Charles of the Hawaiian shirts, and Lucy the caring. the facility is a bit old and chilly, but the warmth of the hearts working there made it a safe place and I felt good about leaving my mom there. Thank you!

During this tough time the staff took excellent care of my family member. Even though I could not visit (Covid) I could tell from the interactions I was able to glimpse on FaceTime and hear on the phone that they had a relationship with my brother and that they cared. Staff was diligent in keeping me up to date with any changes. Thank you for looking after him.

I have worked with the team at Aviara for 5 years now as an outside resource for their patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing skilled services after a hospital discharge. I believe one way to recognize a superior place such as Aviara is by the staff retention. Most of the team there has been there for as long as I have worked with them. I had a two week stay there in January 2019 after major surgery for a fractured left thigh. Like any other places, it has good and bad. But the good outweighed the bad. PT is awesome and got me on my way. Most of the staff are terrific. A few cranky people but that's a given. In the main, I found the staff, especially the nurse helpers, I don't know what word to use, were so respectfully empathetic and helpful. Aviara Health Care has so many dedicated nurses and CNAs that took care of and developed a rapport with my friend for over the 5 1/2 years he lived there. I am so grateful for the empathetic and compassionate care they offer! Well done and thank you, Aviara staff! You have been amazing! Like Share

I can't say enough good things about OUR experience at Aviara. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. My husband was treated respectfully and professionally by all of their staff. The therapists were top-notch professionals and they were encouraging, patient and kind. My family and I all felt that we could not have expected a better experience. Dr. Kyle checked on my husband daily, the CNA's were patient and caring. I would recommend Aviara to anyone needing post-stroke rehab.

First off, I have had the privilege to get to know the staff at Aviara for the past 3 years. Their team of case managers, social workers and therapy staff are very friendly and care about the patients they provide care for. Everyone from the front desk to the floor are amazing.

I came here to visit a friend recovering from surgery. Easy to find and close to the freeway. I think parking can be an issue. I just happen to find a space immediately, but I saw a few cars waiting for spots to open. I was greeted immediately at the front desk. The entrance has a welcoming feel. I was expecting a hospital look, especially walking through the halls. But I didn't get that as I walked towards my friends room. I spent several weeks here recovering from surgery. Due to COVID lockdowns, activity was restricted. Some caregivers were outright nasty, especially the night crew. The food was dreadful. Only bright spot was the physical therapy people. I have also stayed at Glen Brook which was a much better experience. Avoid this place, if you can.
