Always a good meal. I have tried all of the bao buns and they never disappoint! Great for lunch!
First of all the packaging for these little buns from heaven is adorable. The buns themselves are like little pillows that provide the perfect vessel, while the sandwich has a nice balance of sweet and spicy, crunchy and soft. I opted for one bao and the crispy chicken bowl with lettuce. The bao was amazing. The bowl and its accompanied sauces added a little bite to the dish. The veggies were nice and crunchy. They even provided a little wet nap. Definitely go check it out!
I received a free combo for my birthday. I also received a bun and purchased the big finished. My bun was amazing! I had the sticky chicken. The flavor was amazing! I had the short rib combo with noodles. I loved it. The big finish was for dessert. They were great too. I wish I had taken a pic before I devoured everything!
I keep coming back because the buns are so good! Creative fusion combinations, well flavored, and surprisingly pretty filling. The store is super cute too! Highly recommend.
A trendy spot for some decent bao buns. The bao itself was fluffy and on point, but the flavors seem to miss the mark. I ordered three buns- they were all good but the flavors didn't quite blend to be something that stands out, which is something I expect from a mainstream fusion take on bao. The meat also could've been cooked a bit better. Overall though, I was satisfied, and I had the food delivered, so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and keeping this at four stars.

The place is serve yourself, they will bring food out to you when the number is called. The variety is pretty good really hard to decide which is my favorite as they all are really tasty. I got 5 of the 9 and not one disappointed. If i could change anything i would make the buns a little larger, but otherwise a great place. Will be back!

This place was a great find and I had hot, fresh takeout even 15 mins. before they closed (thank you)! I had the short rib bao which was a touch heavy on the truffle sauce and light on the other toppings (I also ordered in a rush and forgot that I don't love truffle, oops). The short rib itself was so good! At first, I was disappointed by the size, but the bao are more filling than they appear -- especially when paired with sides. The Bao was excellent! All of the ingredients fresh and I must say the staff was extremely friendly. Although I ordered take out, I did notice the restaurant was extremely clean and well kept. I'll certainly use them again when in Philly.
