Definitely not an authentic Bao place. It had decent flavor, but it's an American fusion Bao, so it is missing the Taiwanese flavors that make Bao so good. The Shishito peppers were really good though!
I was staying nearby and was craving an evening snack. I love bao especially with Peking Duck so, I was excited to discover what other ways it can be used. Food: 5/5 I got the Boa Wow and my partner got the Brussel Sprouts. I would have paid double for these Sprouts because they are literally the best takeout Brussel Sprouts I have ever had! Solid spot for a snack! Tried the crispy chicken bao. Each is ~$5. The chicken was kind of dry but the baos are soft and light. They took a while even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.
The thanksgiving bao was pretty interesting! Came with turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and green onions and was a treat for sure. Definitely worth trying their seasonal stuff.
Great spot. Love the aesthetic, so clean, and staff were warm and friendly! Tried 6 different buns between my partner and I. We loved the chicken ones the most but all were good. 3 were definitely filling and a good portion for dinner-worth the price. Would come back and keep trying different flavors!
A small place with an interesting mix of fusion food. They tak a Chinese bun and wrap it around (mainly western-style) food. It's quite good! However, for the amout of food you get, prices do feel a little on the expensive side. I would go back, but only on occasion.
Great food. Perfect portion, Very tasty and fresh. I had the grilled chicken rice bowl. I look forward to eating here again.
yum. so good for the price and cute location in rittenhouse square. 10/10 would go back
