Bao Nine is awesome. They have a such a great variety of bao buns, all that I've tried have been great. They have plenty of fillings and after 2.5 I'm way more than full. They're all so delicious, my favorites are sticky chicky (teriyaki chicken), crispy chicky, and bang bang (shrimp). The bao boa (not pictured) is also really great. For vegetarians, there is only one bao option but there is the tofu bowl which my friend had and enjoyed. I haven't tried the bowls but it's on my list! They have something for everyone and it's... read more

Fresh, flavorful, plentiful, and affordable. Highly recommend. Hits the spot when you're looking for something pan Asian. The noodles with grilled chicken had pad thai vibes with crushed peanuts, shredded basil, lime, etc

A small spot that does quick service bao buns. While you wait you can see the buns being formed and cut before they make it back to the kitchen to be steamed. The buns themselves are fluffy and they are well balanced ingredients. Tasty and quick.

bao nine is very cool. we went on a long expedition to eat here. it was like a thirty minute walk buuuUUUUUT it was FREEZING COLD OUTSIDE! we are not quite the most native east coasters, so we are not accustomed to this weather. despite the cold, it was a decently nice walk. we talked about some fun things, cracked a few jokes, and skipped with joy!! when we finally got here, we all gave great sighs of relief. the heated and warm temperature inside was definitely welcoming. the ordering process was pretty fun! they have th... read more

I only got take-out/delivery from Bao Nine, but I was surely impressed. Each bao was place in its own individual paper tray, careful not to mix with the other bao, making for an easy at-home eating experience. I ordered the Sticky Chicky, Crispy Chick, and Bao Boa, all really fun American-fusion takes on a traditional bao. I'm thinking about ordering from them once a month, that's how much I liked it!

Definitely not an authentic Bao place. It had decent flavor, but it's an American fusion Bao, so it is missing the Taiwanese flavors that make Bao so good. The Shishito peppers were really good though!

I was staying nearby and was craving an evening snack. I love bao especially with Peking Duck so, I was excited to discover what other ways it can be used. Food: 5/5 I got the Boa Wow and my partner got the Brussel Sprouts. I would have paid double for these Sprouts because they are literally the best takeout Brussel Sprouts I have ever had! They are fried, tossed in a light sauce, dusted with curry powder, and sprinkled with rice puffs on top. DELICIOUS!!! On to the baos, my Bao Wow ($4.85) was so yummy! It was stuffed w... read more

Solid spot for a snack! Tried the crispy chicken bao. Each is ~$5. The chicken was kind of dry but the baos are soft and light. They took a while even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

The thanksgiving bao was pretty interesting! Came with turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and green onions and was a treat for sure. Definitely worth trying their seasonal stuff.
