The lender has been open and honest throughout the entire loan process. Unfortunately they were not able to beat another lender for our situation and we proceeded with the other lender. They never pressured me or made false promises. I look forward to their guaranteed promise and will update if they uphold their $1000 guarantee after we close on our home.

The rates and closing costs provided by better are outstanding, unfortunately the communication is lacking. We ultimately did not use Better as they were unresponsive to time sensitive forms the seller requested to be filled out by a mortgage lender.

Perfect experience for a refi. Throughout the entire process I only had to print one piece of paper and then scan it back in. No faxes, no relentless printing and signing, no letters and tedious explanations. Almost entirely online and then, upon closing, they send a mobile notary to your destination of choice. I signed the remaining docs on break at work. Convenient, online friendly, great rates, and superb customer service. The bar has been raised for every other lender I’ve ever done business with.

From the first contact to the closing...everyone was ready to help with the process. The online process worked well and was very easy to get all docs uploaded. The whole process was done in a month and funded fast.

Better.com is easy to operate and to see the current rates it offers but in reality once you talk to representative, they give a different rates and closing cost which is lower than the website numbers. Better to call and get the rates. Few issues I felt while dealing with my current mortgage loan application. 1. They are not serving people with immigration status of employment based EAD.
