Ordered the BBQ Bacon burger, without BBQ sauce, comes with onion rings that were not cooked all the way and were soggy. At first i wasn't sure if it was the food or my stomach acting up, but i was unable to finish my food and had to bring it home. After eating the leftovers and getting sick again from it i can confirm there was something off about the burger. The onion rings were so underdone they were inedible. Stopped by at 7:24pm on a Tuesday and was refused seating. Hours say they close at 8pm but I guess they didn't feel like working the full shift that night. *shurg*
It is the worst place ever and it sucks the food was horrible and I never want to go there again
Service was good but food was terrible I had big boy and fries, fries cold and no taste, big boy was soggy and inedible. My husband had slim Jim and onion rings and was disappointed. Won't be back
Big Boy has been a childhood favorite up until now. Family outing, ordered meat lovers omelette, hash browns and toast. 1. Omelette sent out to table BURNT! Upon remake meat In omelette overcooked and dry. Don't know if the crunchy was egg shells or overcooked bacon. 2. Table consensus., hash-browns taste like cooked in medicine. 3 And nothing like cold buttered toast obviously they're in need of new cooks ASAP!! Sorry Big Boy you let me down
Came here because it's been a long time (15 yrs) and never coming back! My husband's omelette was way over cooked and hard. The hash browns taste like medicine was poured over it. Our server was great but I was disappointed that she brought out a burnt omelette and admitted that it didn't look good. All in all, the food was terrible!
Dirty. They sit EVERYONE in the same area. Spread everyone out! Crusty soup at the salad bar. And the salad bar!?!? Ugh. Old food, limp lettuce, nothing is labeled... what happened to the Slim Jim. Fake ham lunch meat now!?! All the servers look like they live in a halfway house!?! Clean up your act. Next review will be if the pothole ridden parking lot!!
This food was vile... there was hair in the food, it was undercooked, over cooked, raw eggs, and they wouldn't give us silverware after we asked 3 times. save your money and go somewhere else, this place is not worth it. Also, it was severely dirty and wouldn't give us any money off and the manger refused to come out and talk to us. Just because your "understaffed" doesn't mean your food shouldn't be cooked.
Sorry to say I doubt if I will be coming back to this Big Boy. One day I ordered a Big Boy and watched my waitress chatting with another waitress for quite some time and when I finally got my burger, it was cold. Then today, again service very slow and food not good. At one time I worked at Big Boy as a waitress and head waitress and the other waitress's, and I always hustled . Sad to say that kind of service doesn't exist at Big Boy any more at least not the one on John R in Madison Heights.
