food was ok not great . we had to get our waitress for service . they over cooked my kids food .
Food was over cooked, and out of items on the menu.

waiter ignored the table until a different waiter was flagged down and brought us to his attention. he than basically said he didnt want to help us and would go speak with his manager about what to do. drinks were screwed up food was not served to 1/3 of the table until others had finished my 4yr old and 2 yr old were served after adults. they kept attempting to push a meal on us that wasnt ours... it was the WORST birthday dinner I have EVER HAD

It took to long to get our food, it took at least 25 to 30 minutes to get our food👎🏽
Let me first say I love Blackbear in general. I’ve been to the Arden location 3 times. Every time I go there it’s the same thing. The food is horrible. 70% of the workers walk around with scowls on their face like they don’t want to be there. The service is completely bad. Compared to all the other Blackbears in Northern California, this one is a complete disgrace to the name. It’s disturbing. 😔
Memorial Day morning. Place is very busy. Lots of people waiting and significantly understaffed. Cashier working as hostess. Both positions suffered. Food was decent. Healthy portions -typical of Black Bear Diners but service was inadequate. However did the scheduling dropped the ball by understaffing.
