I will never visit here again. Service was so so. The lady gave me my ticket before my son and I started eating. She asked will there be anything else!!!!! Then a lady cleaning the tables dropped food on the floor I told her and she said she was gonna come back and get it later. But after all that the killer was finding hair under my pancakes on my plate after my son and I finished half the plate. Intake Process (Front Reception) is poorly staffed! Mayra was forced to do Cashier & Hostess duties at the same time, while the line of people grew. #bottleneck Also, after being seated, no one came by to greet us & offer water or coffee for 15 minutes. The worst ever!!!! We enjoy Vacaville location however this was ridiculous. Waiter spilled the salad dressing on my mom the told her the dressing was coagulated but he would get a new if she wanted: something as simple as grilled cheese tasted disgusted, almost like they used a dirty grill. Another persons sandwich didn’t come with cheese and mushrooms and it was obvious the waitress slapped a cold piece of cheese on it and she MAY have had 3 mushrooms at best. My boyfriend loves black bear diner and so we visit as many as possible. This was the Worst location we have been to. All was fine until we got our drinks, not because of the drinks but because we were left sitting there for near 30 min. Even then we were like ok, it's busy, but at least take our order? We got someone to grab our waitress and that was when things really went downhill. I absolutely love Black Bear Diner (I'm a passport holder collecting stamps from their different locations!) I have visited Black Bear Diners in 3 different states so far, I have never had a single bad experience until I stopped at the restaurant located in Arden. Do not come to this location, our waitress took thirty minutes to come to our table and it was only after we waved another waitress down. Is there a less than 1? 15 minute wait for a table that's acceptable. Then we're seated and totally ignored for another 15 minutes. At which point we told the manager we'd never be back and left. Every wait person plus manager walked by our table many times, never made eye contact, nothing. I finally snagged one and asked if the table had a wait person. Yes, she would send her over. Never happened. There are way too many restaurants in that area to be treated like this.
