Service was great as usual but food was NOT up to their standard quality at all. Ordered clam chowder which was like watered down milk gravy without the sausage but with a very few potatoes and clams. But the manager did take care of us so that was a plus.

Must have been a bad day. Silverware dirty. My fork had dried cheese on it and the spoon had dried broccoli. My husband spoon had dried food also. My son's menu had a piece of lettuce stuck to it. Crumbs all over the seats in booth. The waitress replaced everything but shame that the cleanliness can't be trusted. Otherwise the meal came out fine.

I've just never been really impressed with Black Bear's customer service. This time they said we were called for a table when we were only feet from them and was passed up for our table. Maybe they should invest in a p.a. system.
