Our first time going to a restaurant after vaccination for COVID-19. We went when they first opened in the morning, we were one couple of 3 in the restaurant at the time. Our server was very polite and conscientious. We ordered breakfast and it was great. Their portions are very large, however I always order sides so I don't get quite so much food. They are one of the few places that knows how to do a perfect basted egg, in my opinion. We won't hesitate to go back again.

I have gotten food here in the restaurant and delivered during covid time. They have THE best orange juice I've ever had! Other highlights include the homemade Italian sausage bit the hot and the sweet, the vinaigrette salad dressing, the blackberry tart with vanilla ice cream and the coconut cream pie. The service overall was really great! Wait time was about 10 Mins and although they were pretty busy they didn't bother on checking up on our table every once a while !

NEVER had any issues with Black Bear!! We have visited many Black Bear restaurants in California, but this one is our absolutely favorite. The atmosphere and ambiance is so incredibly chill, and the staff are always welcoming. Sadly, since COVID it's been a lot of takeout orders. However once they reopen for Dine-In you will feel very welcomed. The food is always spot on... and those biscuits??? TO. DIE. FOR!!! Yep, I'm a frequent repeater... COVID will not keep me away!
