I was craving banana cream pie and decided to get not one, but two from here. The consistency was good, except there was something missing. Crust! There was the thinnest layer of crumbled up graham crackers in the bottom. The crust is the best parts of the pie. I was so soo sad. I had to box it up and put in the fridge. I'll be taking them back tomorrow.
I brought my family to eat because the chain has a reputation great food and service I thought it would be a quick drop in before we headed back home. . I couldn't have been more disappointed tonight. It took almost 1 hour to get a volcano kids meal and chicken strips. No one mentioned being short staffed. They didn't do check ins. There was no server presence on the floor at all.It took close to 20 min to even get water. I spoke to the lead on duty and asked for the manager or owners information which I couldn't get. Went to dinner and ordered the tri tip steak. The picture on the menu looks nothing like what I got. Way over cooked and tuff. The waitress was great and tried to make things right. I'll never go back.

The food is what you would expect from IHOP and Denny's, I'm not concerned with the quality. However, whenever I order take out through a third party app and despite checking to make sure I've selected "add utensils" and "add condiments" at checkout, I NEVER receive these items. After looking over other reviews, I've noticed this is a common trend. I have to wonder how something that would be common sense at almost every restaurant seems to be so hard to get right at BBD. I have requested refunds for about 95% of the meals I... read more

I've been to this Black bear restaurant on SE 82nd about 5 times in the past year. Number 5 was last night at this location. Sorry to say I won't be visiting again. Our waitress who identified herself on the receipt as Jason. TABLE 39 check out at 8:06pm. ( As a note, we arrived at 715pm hoping to get our food and leave prior to closing at 800pm). I guess Jason is an obvious miss, so she would not be accountable. I ordered off the appetizer menu with no sides but was charged for a full meal. The waitress had to be re... read more
