This place has gone downhill. They've reduced the menu, are overpriced, and the service sucks. They used to be friendly at Black Bear. Now the wait staff does the bare minimum. They give you a meal with a pound of stale fries and charge $14. I don't want to have to negotiate with a waiter to order less food and a smaller plate. Placing an order online - super easy Order ready for pick up quickly. Ordered 2 omelettes with potatoes and side of bacon. I am not exaggerating when I say the food was disgusting. Potatoes tasted like they were from the day before and just reheated. Omelettes tasted horrible. I gave our dog a piece of bacon and watched as she took it outside and buried it in our planter! We literally threw $50 into the trash.
The service has gotten worse. The host sat my family and I at a table that was not finished cleaning. Food was okay but gave us heated up bacon so the bacon was flimsy not crispy. And then I had to wait awhile for the check. When I went up to pay I got a little attitude from the host at the cashier. I was tsked for the tip I gave which I try to give even if service isn't all that great. I am not coming here again.

My spouse and his friend ate here and brought home my meal to go. It was completely burnt and the waffle was raw in the middle. I can't believe they would even send this food out. I

My friend and I went in for lunch and the waiter messed up my friends order. The waiter then blamed my friend for not saying the order correctly. He then proceeded to charge me for the incorrect order and did not care at all that the order was wrong. My friend ended up not even getting lunch. The worst service I've ever had. Unfortunately, I had to give one star, but that was a zero star experience.

Absolutely disgusting! I ordered a veggie burger, it came barely warm on the outside and FROZEN on the inside!!! Also, the vacuuming never stopped the whole time we were there.. never again

Terrible food quality. Party of five, and four of us regretted our meals. Issues ranged from tough tri tip, frozen cocktail sauce that came with shrimp, unseasoned grits, uncooked fries, gray and chewy ribs, and rotten tomato on brother's salad. They don't have regular ranch dressing. Should have complained and refused to pay, but we were all too tired.
Went for late night desert. Their signature Bread pudding was awful. Will not go back.
This restaurant has all the appearances of being that great breakfast diner experience. Everything about it suffers from trying to achieve "just good enough" and lack of pride in doing what you do. I would call it epically uninspiring. Scrambled eggs were put on the grill and flipped once. There you go - scrambled.
