We initially came in for the first time 2 weeks ago, sat at the counter as it was very busy and enjoyed everything from the service to the food. Today again it was busy and we didn't mind the wait. I understand that it was busy, but I really felt the following observations should really be addressed ; -the time it took to have our drink order taken was approximately 7-8 minutes. -a family of 5 seated across from us had to ask 2 different servers for utensils before receiving them approximately 8-9 minutes after they had... read more

Fancy new store, but I didn't go there for the wood carvings. ordered the meat loaf, and it looked like someone took a swason TV dinner and dumped it on a plate and put it in a microwave to heat it up. The meat loaf was about the size of a playing card, and for $ 13 dollars I feel I was ripped off. I will not come back and will be spending my money at the local restaurant. I was not going to pay $13.00 for a hamburger.

Train your employess in customer service. Staff could smile and be a little more friendly. At our request, host tried to accomodate us by adding a chair to the end of a table because of a walker, problem was there were 5 of us, and the table was to small, we asked for the larger booth which she gladly moved us to and it was fine. Asked for a PLAIN hamberger, order came with sauce, mayo, lettuce so was not get eaten. Oh...were we forgotten? No refills, had to ask then wait for both to go cartons and the ticket. The youn... read more

Knowing you are a newly opened Black Bear Diner, I offer my input as a coaching opportunity for your staff, not just a complaint. My dinner companion and I both ordered ribs and when they arrived they were barely warmed. The mashed potatoes were not hot either, but when mixed with the piping hot vegetables, were edible. Our amazing, accommodating, delightful server (Michelle) was quick to take care of us, but as with "The Three Little Bears," our ribs came back to hot to eat. My companion waited for hers to cool but I r... read more

This is the third time I have eaten food here and the third time the food was not all all good. This third visit I ordered a title club and a bbq western burger the turkey club had burnt bacon and half the sandwich had no meat the fries had so much salt you couldn’t eat them the bbq burger had no bbq sauce omit. The last time I was there it took 3 tries to get cooked potatoes. I would not come again or recommend your restaurant to anyone. You keep serving food this way you will go out of business

It is very depressing walking into a diner where everyone seems like they don't want to be there. My husband and I sat at the bar, and it took over 45-minutes to give our order after I asked the Manager on duty if it would be possible for someone to take our order. Once our order was taken, it took over an hour to get our food (mind you the diner was NOT busy) and our food was cold. Furthermore, while sat patiently waiting for our food, we took the time to observe the crew that was working, and noticed that there heads were ... read more

The gravy on the Bigfoot chicken fried steak could use more seasoning. It had a taste of flour. The mashed potatoes were not hot enough. There could also be some cinnamon or nutmeg added to the peach cobbler to make it taste more homemade. The bread pudding could do with some cinnamon although the pecan sauce that came with it was good.

Just walked out after waiting for over 40 minutes for our order while watching others arrive after us, get their food, and finish. I guess the service is a hit and miss there. Today we had the misfortune that they forgot about us.

We were seated right away but had to wait 15 minutes before the server came to the table for our order. It took another 40 Minutes to receive our food. My food was cold when I got it and the bacon and hash browns were under cooked. The pancakes were good but again lukewarm at best. I understand the tables throughout the restaurant were full but that should not be the reason for the food not being hot. After receiving the meal we were not asked how the food was or even offered refills on the coffee. It felt like the st... read more
