Had an early dinner here today, took about an hour to get our food. I ordered the prime rib, it was about 85% fat...the rest was mushy....my mashed potatoes could have been mistaken for dry wall filler...my girlfriend ordered a burger with no cheese...when it came to us it had cheese...they had to remake it, once it came back out there were no fries...after asking the waitress she had a horrible attitude and argued with us about where they were...my grandmother ordered the prime rib as well...she was given a ribeye and it wa... read more

This is the second time in less than a month that my husband and I have had to wait over 15 minutes for a table, even though there were many open tables. AND both times it took over 30 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we received our food. While your food is excellent, your service is terrible! We weren’t the only people to complain as we heard others complain as well! And your dessert selection be the cashier only had three items, period.

Was going to try dinner this evening. arrived about 6:45, was seated immediately. Left just after 7:00 because no one came to our table for anything at all. The manager thanked us on the way out though.

The food was just average. I had the chicken parmesan and I thought it was bland and a bit over cooked.

Extremely slow service. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there was a line to speak to him. Table next to us left after nobody acknowledged them. Food was cold when we finally got it. Very disappointed.

The lady who greeted us looked very unhappy. Took at least 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold so waiting again for one plate if food. The restaurant was cold and we weren’t the only table wearing coats The waiter Brandon was the only positive here. He was friendly and very accommodating. 4 piece chicken dinner is $14.99. It was a leg, wing and 2 backs. This was the smallest pieces of chicken I’ve had at any restaurant and the most expensive.

My 2nd time to Black Bear. The first time I blamed it being new to the area. Tonight, there was no excuse. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and that wasn't even from our waiter. Our waiter didn't take our order until after our drinks were delivered. Our meals came out after another 20 minutes. 5 people ordered, 4 meals came out.
